TRENCHLESS ‘NO DIG’ TECHNOLOGY

There is no need to dig which mean less mess and no reinstatement necessary. The pipe becomes effectively joint free so it is less prone to root ingress and leaking joints, whilst still being as strong and effective as PVC pipes.

The cost of relining a drain can be more than 50% cheaper compared to conventional repair methods and you don’t have the mess, disruption & lengthy repair times!!

At Hi-Tec Drains we normally recommend relining the entire length of drain as we believe that it is a more permanent solution than using patch liners.

The most important criteria is that the drain has not been allowed to completely collapse before it is relined. If this is the case our experienced team of engineers will advise you on how to proceed with more conventional methods of drain repairs.

All drains need to be CCTV surveyed before they can be relined to check for suitability as well as checking for connections from other systems.

THE EXPECTED LIFESPAN OF A RELINED DRAIN IS IN EXCESS OF 75 YEARS!

Hi-Tec Drains have years of experience and are specialists in using trenchless ‘NO DIG’ technology to reduce disruption and costs of repair work.

Relining a drain involves inserting a structural liner which is impregnated with polyester resin, into the pipe. The liner is then inflated using either water or air and left to set (approx. 3-4 hours). The Inflation tube is removed once the liner has set and this leaves the drain ready to use!

NO DIG, NO MESS, LOWER COST, FASTER REPAIRS

Drain relining is often the perfect solution for problems with pitch fibre, root ingression, cracked or fractured pipes, displaced joints. We often come across pitch fibre pipes which have a tendency to blister and deform causing blockages. Most faulty pipes can be restored by re-rounding and returned to service using resin lining with no messy excavation work. Root ingress can be solved by high pressure jetting of the pipe prior to inserting the liner.

Relining can be utilised in all types of drainage, whether made from PVC, clay, pitch fibre or even stone culverts. The liners can be made chemical resistant and also heat resistant to provide solutions for all your drainage requirements.
